How It Works

Gather the photographs you would like digitized and remove them from albums, magnetic pages, frames, sleeves, envelopes, and other storage materials. Please remove tape, sticky notes, paper clips, staples, rubber bands, and other attached items before your appointment. Proper preparation helps ensure efficient scanning and protects your photographs during the digitization process.

Final pricing is based on the actual number of photographs scanned. If you're unsure which package is right for you, we'll be happy to help estimate your photo count.

Complete your intake form and schedule a convenient drop-off or pickup appointment. A 50% deposit is required to reserve your project. Photographs are accepted by appointment only to ensure every collection receives personalized attention and secure handling. 

Your photographs are carefully scanned using high-resolution equipment to create quality digital copies while preserving the original images. Each photograph is reviewed throughout the process to ensure the best possible results.

You will receive:

• High-resolution digital image files
• Automatic image enhancement for color and clarity
• Images of photo backs when handwritten notes, dates, captions, or other visible text are present

Once your project is complete, you'll receive your digitized photographs on a branded Coastal Capture USB drive. Your original photographs are returned to you along with your digital archive, ready to view, organize, share, and preserve.
